Rock bottom knows her name

She’s strong because that’s the only way she’s survived her past.

She’s been to rock bottom so many times, it started to feel too comfortable until she chose to break the cycle.

Until she decided enough was enough..and it was only after countless failures, falls to the bottom and broken hearts that she hit her limit.

She had a choice: succumb to the fires of her life or step up, rise up and become the fire.

Her soul was weary and her heart was tired but she didn’t have any options-

Her life didn’t give her one.

So, instead of wallowing, staying down and giving up, she did the only thing she knew to do:

She turned her setback into a comeback..

Only this time, she wasn’t going to settle for returning to “normal.”

She needed more than average, lackluster and ordinary.

She chose to rise from the ashes of rock bottom with an iron will, a warrior’s spirit and the strength of a thousand suns.

She was done surviving and trying to manage her life..that had done nothing but landed her at rock bottom, time and again.

No, this time, she was fighting for more..

More of her life, her voice and most of all, her lost magic..

The part of her that she had lost along the way as life had tried to pummel the hope and dreams out of her..

But it failed.

She didn’t know how or when she’d claw herself out of the darkness, only that she was determined to rise above, become stronger..

To find her wings.

She realized it was never truly about being perfect, she just needed to persevere-

Every day, in every way.

That was her ticket to the top.

Sure, she’d get some bumps and bruises along the way, but she was ready for that.

The question was...

Could life handle her best, because that’s what she was bringing with her as she rose again.

No excuses, no miracles, no choices.

She was strong because her story gave her no other choice..

Only now, she was turning the page and starting a new chapter called simpl
